Lisa is a homegrown Idaho girl that has been making movies since she was knee high to a potato beetle. There was little theater and absolutely no film in her little town and her mantra became, if it doesn’t exist you got to make it yourself. She went so far as to press gang the neighborhood kids into participating in her films. A director was born.

At the age of eighteen she started her first business, a Shakespeare theater troupe called The Midsummer Players. She directed, acted, designed, and managed the company for four years, all the while going to college at BYU-Idaho, and managing a Residential YMCA camp.

Lisa then moved to Los Angeles where she currently lives and helped found Runes Picture Company.  Since moving to the city of angels Lisa has directed numerous award winning short films.

Jonathan is a Tennessee native and co-founder of Runes Picture Company. Before he traveled to Los Angeles to make a career in the movie industry, he helped to start a Film/Video Department at Austin Peay State University called Clean Cut Productions. The notion of “if you want to ‘Make it’ you have to make it yourself” lead him to take part in every aspect of the production process and create over 9 projects. This earned him the title of Director of Operations as a student. Once graduated he saddled up moved out to California and started the process all over again. Now you have seen him on stage, TV, and in independent films. Though Jonathan hates mustard he will continue to perform as if nothing is wrong.
